What was the highlight of Aonang Viva Resort

Overall we had a very comfortable stay

I liked the position, the staff that was extremely kind and reactive and the swimming pool area. Very comfortable bed.

I didn’t like the mixed salty water from the sink, shower and swimming pool too. The room was not super clean, walls were full of dust and sheets not very clean when we arrived

Great value for money

Loved our stay, great value for money. Nice rooms and pool, comfortable bed and nice breakfast. Close to restaurants and shops without being in a too crowded main street.

When it is very hot, it can feel like the hotel is a bit far from the beaches/longtail boats. Some parts of the hotel could use some maintenance to keep it pristine (e.g. rusty slide, building painting), and it would be lovely to have the option of cheese in the breakfast but nothing major really.

Large clean rooms, good location - beach is short walk away. Breakfast isn't bad, pool area not great but you come here for the beaches.

The location was good. Close to the beach and many restaurants nearby. Close to the boat harbour. I stayed in the pool access room which was excellent, and the swim up bar was amazing. The hotel provided robes, bags for going to the beach with umbrellas and slippers. The staff was freindly and helpful. Location is also near 24 hr convenience stores like 711.

The hotel itself made very good use of space. There are two pools, one smaller pool, sunny side with the slide, and one bigger pool large enough for some lap swimming and in the shade. The room was nice and clean with a balcony. You can hang the sign outside the room; they will make your room daily. The breakfast was ok, a bit of everything: egg station, ABF, continental. There was only one coffee machine so there was a bit of a queue. The location is good. It's a walking distance from two beaches and two night markets.

The water in the bathroom was somewhat salty.

The rooms were large and clean, above 3 star standards. There was no noise during the night, you could rest really well! Breakfast was also a big plus!

What was the highlight of Aonang Viva Resort

The resort location is excellent, many shops around, close to the beach, currency exchange points, scooter motorbike rentals etc. Also the resort staff is great and helpful, we checked-out early in the morning at 5.30 AM and they gave us a package with some sandwiches, juice and water, plus some bananas as long as we couldn't go to the breakfast. Food was quite good, with daily changes in menu. Great room design. Overall great experience.

Great value for money, 10 min walk to beach.

Breakfast was great and varied. the room was big and was tidied every day. The staff were really helpful. Reasonably close to the beach, but helps being far from the clubs if you don’t want that.

The bedroom was spacious and very clean. But the window was blocked by the hotel next door. Also, the air con was a little bit loud.

Beach holidays just close to the beach

The hotel is situated by the side street about 5 minutes from the main beaches of Ao Nang. Consequently, it is quiet but allows easy access to local attractions, local markets and places from where boat tours start. The rooms are well equipped, well maintained. The staff are helpful and competent, very friendly and willing to satisfy the guests. Breakfast is fine, then lunch can be ordered at the bar but in the evening the restaurant does not work. Fortunately, there are many places to choose from nearby. A pretty good choice in Ao Nang

I liked almost everything. It really exceeded the expectations.We had the room were can go straight to the pool.Staff was very friendly, the street with the restaurants was staight there .Very quiet area.With the motorbike to the beach was only few minutes.

Wonderful

We had a great stay! The bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious. Housekeeping was amazing and the room was always very clean. The included breakfast was buffet style and the options changed slightly every morning for some variety. We loved the pool and having a pool bar right there was great for drinks, smoothies and snacks. We would definitely stay here again!

Not sure if it was just our room but the air conditioning was not super powerful. It did cool off the room to a comfortable temperature but it never got super cold

swimming pool is very very small, not many lounges and development on site. they tried to clean the room and never changed the bed sheets no matter how many times I went and asked if they could at least change the bedsheet once they never did during our whole stay.
